The interview process at Summit Staffing is a bit different due to the COVID-19 situation. Our office is currently open by appointment only. Walk in appointments are temporarily unavailable to ensure that we are able to maintain social distancing in our offices. You can contact your local summit staffing location to schedule an appointment! I don’t own a mask. can I work?
If you don't own a face covering at this point, we strongly recommend getting one and wearing it regularly. CDC guidelines clearly state that the use of face coverings are effective at preventing the spread of COVID-19. If you don't have access to purchase a mask, many businesses are offering them for free. how often should i wash my hands at work?
CDC recommends employees protect themselves from respiratory illness with everyday preventive actions, including good hand hygiene. Employees should wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not readily available, especially during key times when persons are likely to be infected by or spread germs:
should i expect health screenings when I arrive at work?
Health screenings are conducted by some employers on a case by case basis. It is becoming increasingly more common for employers to conduct basic health screenings upon arrival to make sure everyone has access to a safe working environment. You may be asked to submit to a temperature check upon arrival to work. It is also common for employers to ask you to wash your hands and use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
